Yup! That version is often used to signify creepiness in today's movies and TV. It dates back to the '50s, and I always wonder—did people find it creepy then? Or is there something about that particular sound (another example would be Johnny Mathis' "Wonderful, Wonderful," which is severely creepy) that has since translated into "creeptastic"?
