The link above goes to Ami's fic journal, where she has an excerpt and an explanation of the many exciting ways you can access the story in all its length and mightiness.

Enjoy!

Um. I don't really remember why we chose to do it this way, although it was discussed at length and this seemed like the best way to satisfy everyone (as best we could).

I understand how RPF can be squicky. I have relatives who are actors, and family friends who are actors in shows I have actually been fannish about (that was embarrassing...) so I can certainly understand the discomfort. But then, I like RPF too, in other contexts. So...um, I guess what I'm basically saying is: I hear ya! And I hope what we did was, if not perfect, then at least adequate?

If it was the best you could do without giving the whole thing away, then it was the best you could do. I wouldn't add the explicit warning if it gives something away, or takes something from the story.

You were fannish about shows with actors you knew in them? That must have been weird. For me, everytime I see a friend in a show or film, it throws me right out. Instead of enjoying the film, I'm, "Woah! Joan!" for a moment. And don't get me started on the love scenes. Those just make me giggle.
