Eeeee. Yay, thank you. This is definitely one of those stories that's being written because there's a little something extra I'm wanting from the canon, and since I know they're not going to give it to me, I have to make it happen, dammit! *eg*

Oh man, the hospital stuff—well, of course, the renovation thing is totally made up. And I had a lengthy conversation with wychwood about what I should call the ER—all I knew was NOT to call it an ER. If you think there's better terminology I could use, I'd be happy to employ it! And if I end up using that setting again (I may, toward the end *is mysterious*), I will definitely come running!
