Poor Dean, you would think he went through enough already. This must be cruel to Castiel, too, now that he isn't able to give Dean any hope or clue anymore (since he was the reason why Dean had any faith at all). It would be so cool if this is it (and it would explain why Heaven didn't intervene with Sam's addiction). Of course I could be simply thinking too much about this.
