Oh, and also, as I'm obviously not completely sure on the whole "Michael!Dean's grace" thing (is it still in the tree, if not, how did it get out, could be in the spear), but maybe his grace is in the necklace? It would make sense, just not sure how it would get there.
Then the question is whether Cas knew beforehand; and I'm assuming Mary knew.
And it would explain how Dean is so awesome! While, of course, being righteous. Especially if Michael didn't fall because of selfishness, rather to serve the cause.
Explains a lot of this season and I sincerely hope this is the direction the show goes in.
Only question is why the other angels haven't noticed Michael missing for the past 30 years. I'd venture to guess that archangels keep to themselves a bit, so that could definitely explain it. Kind of felt like in Changing Channels that Cas didn't even know Gabriel had rebelled. Of course, Cas is lower on the totem pole than most. But it's weird that Zach's going around campaigning for Dean to be Michael's vessel if Michael hasn't requested such. But not really weird considering how Zach has kind of gone his own way, probably just assuming that Michael will do whatever it takes to kill Lucifer for good.

Okay, babbling is over.
Point is: AWESOME.
