You took the essentials of SPN's faith and morality dilemmas, all the themes that I watch it for, and wrote something entirely different, and in some aspects, far better. I loved the ending, I think Gabriel's way of fighting back is the most effective and rational, in canon too.
Now I'll pretend that I'm not crying about losing Jo all over again.
