This has been on my 'to read' list for weeks now, but I didn't have the opportunity (till now, because what's the best way to procrastinate from studying for exams? Right, reading SGA fic. =))

So, um, wow?

I haven't read the books (so the guide was really useful, thank you for that), but this was incredibly fascinating and haunting.

And intense. I think that's the best word to describe it - intense. It took me a while to get into the story/universe, and the idea of them living with these daemons (also, snakes freak me out. a lot), but once I did I really started to feel with/for them.

The scene with Rodney holding (omg*gasp*) and running with Nioke, was the best scene in this story. I was literally holding my breath and going 'omgnowwhat?'.
