That was cool. I'm not a fan of Pullman (sorry), but I enjoyed this :) I like the way you extrapolated it all through, the Wraith feeding, and the shapes that the dæmons took, and just the way it's all integrated into the world.

John has heard that there are dæmons who are not constantly sarcastic, but he doesn’t really believe it.
