First of all, before reading your notes and this fic, I've never heard of HDM books, so I'm new at this.
Okay, I liked the fic and the crossover. It was interesting and fascinating. It took me a while to get into the story, to understand it. Around the end of part one I sorta got it, you know? I think you fused this completely new world to SGA fandom really well. It worked.
What I didn't like was the feeling of... you know, I'd like to use the word bestiality here, but that's not right. That's not what I mean. Hmm, I guess it was almost like reading a weird foursome fic... with animals. So, yeah. That was the negative part. :) Hope you don't feel offended.
