HDM is one of my most favorite series, and I've never been touched so much by any books as I have by them. It's been ages since I've read them (and I really, really need to reread), but I still remember the moods and emotions they evoked and this just completely and totally encompasses that. The whole integration of the dæmans is seamless and it all fits and makes sense and the whole concept is brilliant, and this is just so gorgeous.
There are some pieces of fanfic that always stay with me, and this will most definitely be one of them.
