I just found your fic when someone asked about it on sgastoryfinders. I know nothing about the series of books you're using, but your story was self explanatory, very well paced and very well done.

Thanks for your explanations on your daemon choices, When I saw your choice of a snake for John, I immediately thought of the wrist band that he wears. And Rodney's daemon - a computer mouse, of course!

Beckett's daemon seemed kind of odd. I don't see it as a reflection of his inner self, you picked something that was symbolic. I would have picked something cuddly, like a panda bear. Or maybe a koala bear, it seems cuddly, but it can lash out with deadly claws if needed.
