John's line to Rodney about "They can't all be planets with Goa'uld technology and open minded women." makes me believe that he had sex on the mind from the get go this week and it interfered with his thought process for the rest of this episode. Which would explain not only his sleeping with the incredibly bubbled headed princess but also falling for the chancellor; that guy had evil written all over him.

And Rodney needs to rip somebodies head off for being left stuck underground.
