The scariest thing about this is the plausibility of it all. It's the way people think, the way things escalate until hatred and prejudice and control is absolutely normal. You really did a great job at capturing the fear and the anger, and the small touches they managed, the ways they could work around the system ... perfect. Also the ending when they're cautiously finding each other, trying out the words, the touches ... was wonderful. Bravo. I always enjoy your fics, and this one is no exception.
