HV: Did I get that right? John's 'black mark' was transforming? I'm amazed they sent him to Antarctica. S/he must have done something fairly impressive not to end up in Area 51... and to not have it in his medical records. Antarctica, a new start from a sympathetic military? Do they have some sort of secret protocols on what to do when it happens? I do hope you write more of this :-)
