Orders of business (but in a sexy, rock & roll kind of way)

Continuing from yesterday's theme, I wrote a story for [livejournal.com profile] sga_flashfic's Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll challenge. Not a Puddlejumpers story, I'm afraid, but it's got music in it. Multimedia, yay.

Title: The No. 1 All-Time Top Frivolous Use of Time Travel
Rating: PG
Pairing: McKay/Sheppard
Length: ~1800 words
Summary: Oh, like you wouldn’t.

The No. 1 All-Time Top Frivolous Use of Time Travel

Have I mentioned how psyched I am that people like Bootleg? Because I am, I really am. Thank you all, so much.

And speaking of AUs, [livejournal.com profile] out_there just wrote an awesome one: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot. If the premise alone isn't enough to sell you--Rodney's a professor at Berkeley and John's a San Francisco dance instructor (hi, Bay Area! I miss you!)--then let me tell you: this fic stays true to both of them, has some blindingly hot moments, and never takes the easy way out. And it's long. *bliss*

Dear Body,

Seriously, it's days like today that make me want to be a brain in a jar.

No love,

Trin

Could I be in the jar next to you on the shelf? Because for serious. *punches self in the stomach to distract*

And fic, yays.

OMG [livejournal.com profile] aurora_84 POSTED THE BELL X1 COVER OF "LIKE I LOVE YOU" THAT YOU TOLD ME ABOUT!

*laughs hysterically*

Could I be any more breathy?

Isn't it awesome? I love Paul Noonan. I want to have his tiny, dorktastic babies, even if he is from Kildare.

SPEAKING OF WHOM, I knew there was something I meant to upload for you. Remember me babbling to you about Juniper, the group that was the awesome power of Bell x1 and Damien Rice combined (Together! They fight crime!)? I do believe this song might be of interest to you, given your writing tastes. *g*

Puns have killed me dead.

I bequeath you the fic of doom.

Finish it. Make me proud.

*keels over*

[identity profile] trinityofone.livejournal.com 2006-04-25 05:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm here! Brilliant solutions have not presented themselves, but...

NO BEQUEATHING!

[identity profile] amireal.livejournal.com 2006-04-25 05:53 pm (UTC)(link)
*bequiths out of spite!*

[identity profile] trinityofone.livejournal.com 2006-04-25 06:23 pm (UTC)(link)
All right, let me get this other stupid thing out of my head, make some food, and then I am buckling down, dammit.

But you--you have to help me!

*growls or looks pathetic, whatever works best*

[identity profile] amireal.livejournal.com 2006-04-25 06:27 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm here for you!

I just cacn't promise more than a few sentences of tagging at a time.

Discovering two new fics at five to twelve in the night has to be both the best and the worst thing ever -- I'm really looking forward to these, but I won't get around to reading them for some time, because tomorrow is going to be busy, and I could stay up and read now, but then I'd be dead and miserable tomorrow, so I'll have to resist, dammit.

Brain in a jar would be occasionally very awesome. Could I hook it up to the internet?
