Kind of reminds me of one of my old jobs. I was a graphic designer for a newspaper - the Boston Phoenix, which is like the Village Voice, sort of. It has those sex ads in the back. You know, the big breasted lady, the guy's pecs or bum, with XXX on top and a suggestive tag line?
I used to design the sex ads.

On the would-they-hire-a-woman front, I'm fairly sure they have to at least consider women applicants, or it would be going against anti-discrimination laws. (Unless that sort of thing works much differently in the US from over here.) They might be more picky with their female candidates, simply because of the nature of the business, but I'm sure they'd at least consider your application.
In conclusion: Yay, gay porn!

It would be downright hilarious if you'd get that job! I kind of want that job, would at least be so much better than the magazine I'm working for at the moment. +lol+
And mabe you actually have better chances as a woman, because they think that - as a woman - you do that job with professionalism and not for your own pervie reasons (as in free porn). Okay, they would be totally wrong about it +g+ ... but still ...
One way or the other, I wish you good luck! :)
