Roommates in Los Angeles?

Hey, are any of you L.A. people looking for a roommate? I'm hoping to find a place to live somewhere on the west side, hopefully fairly centralized (my last couple of places have been near Wilshire, and I've liked that). I'm pretty open, though. I'm gonna try craigslist next, but I really would prefer to live with a fannish person who will understand my crazy ways.

I used Craigslist to find my apartment here in Rome, and just seconding what Red said in the comment above - be picky. There were quite a few things that could have gone well, or not, but all of them were pressuring me to move quickly. The one with the least pressure, and the one that worked the most to answer my questions, was the one that felt the rightest. Don't let them pressure you into thinking you have to act quickly if it doesn't feel exactly right.

Also: as much as I am dead set against living in the States at this point in my life, it would be nice if I lived in a place where craigslist was actually widely used. *sigh*
