*squishes you tight*

We all miss you and wish you were here in our tiny hotel room, with its excessive amounts of chocolate and laptops! [livejournal.com profile] wychwood and I are sitting around discussing your '300' post at the moment. *g*

[identity profile] trinityofone.livejournal.com 2007-02-02 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
*clings to you* I wish I were there, too! Where it's fun and geeky and SAFE. *sniff*

Let me know if you arrive at any interesting conclusions. I always feel impassioned but airheaded when I make posts like that.

We would like to have you here with us! We miss you! (Wych's taking photos of me, wah)

We have no particularly interesting conclusions, other than the obvious that a) your posts are shiny and b) Frank Miller is a fucktard. \o/

Coulda been worse - you could have been at the cookie place getting a dozen brownies to eat all at once in a fit of PMS.

Just sayin'.

[identity profile] trinityofone.livejournal.com 2007-02-03 12:37 am (UTC)(link)
That's true! Although the way I proceeded to shove orange chicken in my mouth wasn't especially dignified. At least he had gone away by then.

My (first) ex-husband still lives in the same town as my parents. I have a little prayer I say when I'm anywhere in that town that isn't mom and dad's house. It goes like this: "Ohpleaseohgodletmenotrunintopsychoboy."

It's been 15 years.

[identity profile] truelove87.livejournal.com 2007-02-03 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
Oh god I hate that. I was sitting in my mom's car at the post office when my crush was walking past the window but instead of, you know, being normal or anything I decided I should duck and lie flat in the backseat.

...

*clears throat* ANYWAY, you live in Los Angeles too! Cool!

[identity profile] trinityofone.livejournal.com 2007-02-03 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
I would have totally done that! Except he spotted me first. Curses!

L.A. for the win! I still wish there was some way we could do some sort of big SG:LA meet-up or something.

[identity profile] randomeliza.livejournal.com 2007-02-03 12:50 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, honey. *hugs* Well, living well is the best revenge. God only likes to remind you how fabulous you have become by showing you where you used to be.

Or at least that's what I tell myself when I remember what MY first boyfriend looked like. *shudders*

Sorry for just barging in, but I *love* that icon. Is it by any chance shareable?

[identity profile] claire.livejournal.com 2007-02-03 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
Once I was suffering from conjunctivitis and was decked out in a stained tshirt and track pants and I ran into an ex with his new girlfriend who is a model. I hate life.

[identity profile] sonofzeal.livejournal.com 2007-02-03 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
If this is who I'm thinking this is Canadian flag patch on the "frustrated" icon is the perfect touch.

[identity profile] trinityofone.livejournal.com 2007-02-03 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
I feared just this awkwardness. Do you guys still talk?

[identity profile] sonofzeal.livejournal.com 2007-02-03 04:03 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. He hasn't mentioned anything about this to me, and I won't bring it up to him.

If it makes you feel better, I've been comboed with this one. A couple days after the last girl I was with left me for another guy, I ran into an ex at a screening of X3. So I was in a very shitty state where ex-girlfriends were concerned, and things kind of fell off awkward with us anyway. So I sympathize.

[identity profile] trinityofone.livejournal.com 2007-02-03 04:12 am (UTC)(link)
Thanks, I appreciate it. I should probably learn not to make indiscreet posts...

It's not like it was even a bad meeting; he was very nice. It just freaked me the fuck out. I think I would have been less frazzled if I'd walked into the food court and seen a dinosaur. <--Actually, that might've been cool...

Before a movie is such a lousy time to run into someone you don't want to see; it can ruin your enjoyment of the film. Of course, when it's X3 you're talking about... ;-)

[identity profile] sonofzeal.livejournal.com 2007-02-03 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
It's alright. How many people that you know from high school actually read this LJ? So I doubt it's a problem.

Heh. Yeah, it can be really off-putting to run in to people in a context you don't expect them like that, especially if there's some cause of weirdness between you. I'm picturing you in the scene from Heroes where Hiro is staring down the dinosaur, but at a mall. It's a funny image.

Before the movie, I just got a text message from her asking me if I was in the theater. A little weird, but we didn't actually talk until after the film. It was quite strange. Oddly enough, she had (at random) sat in front of a co-worker (and thus, former co-worker of mine) who had noticed me across the theater, pointed at me, and yelled "Jesus!" which tipped her off. The really sad part is that nothing in that story (as she told it to me) surprised me. Life gets surreal when you work in a fantasy land all day.

Two, and you're one of them. =)

What's really funny is that I just saw that episode today. (I'm a little behind.) Oh, if only I could be as cool as Hiro!

[identity profile] sonofzeal.livejournal.com 2007-02-03 07:50 am (UTC)(link)
Looks like I'm in an elite club ;)

And oddly enough, the ex in question just messaged me out of the blue about an hour ago. Maybe things will get better; I don't like to be on poor terms with people, even exes.

Hiro is great! Do you read his blog? I love it, because I'm a drooling Chrono Trigger fanboy, and he refers to it a lot in the blog. Which has me then looking at his actions in terms of CT. Because I am a nerd.

I won't say anything though, since you aren't caught up yet, other than the show is awesome and I can't wait to see where they take it.

Hey, if you looked better you win. Hold your head high and enjoy the orange chicken. Or the egg roll. Whatever works.

[identity profile] thefirstnet.livejournal.com 2007-02-03 09:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Lol. I hear ya. My first boyfriend ended up going to Cal, and we weren't speaking for the first semester we were here, but I saw him EVERYWHERE. It was really annoying cuz I didn't know what to do. And we're ok now, but I still see him wayyyy more than anyone else from my high school. How do they find us? It's so unfair. The universe hates everyone in it. As if George Bush wasn't enough punishment for us being human!

[identity profile] cjandre.livejournal.com 2007-02-05 12:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Ahahahahaha!

Many years ago, I found out that my first boyfriend from middle-school (Met and snogged at Balticon) was THE ROOMMATE OF my second boyfriend (met and snogged at Disclave or another Balticon) Each one was a three or four month relationship when I was 14 and 15 respectively. They did not know each other at that time, I heard about their sharing an apartment when I was in my 20s. They were apparently discussing old girlfriends and my name came up.

*shudders*

Well, somebody's a little unstable.

-your kind neighborhood anonymous troll

[identity profile] trinityofone.livejournal.com 2007-02-06 05:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I was willing to tolerate your behavior in the 300 post itself, but if you continue to troll in the rest of my journal, I will be forced to take steps with LJ abuse. Thank you.

(Anonymous) 2007-02-06 07:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Gonna take it to the AOL police eh? Shame, I thought you could deal better. It's quite boring you know, not every day you find such an interesting subject of yourself, with such marvelous reactions.
You know, disabling anonymous posting also helps. ;)

-your friendly neighborhood anonymous troll.

[identity profile] trinityofone.livejournal.com 2007-02-06 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not going to let you dictate how I run my journal, and some people with actual interesting things to discuss, who do not have LJ accounts, enjoy posting here. However, your IP address has now been logged. Just so you know.

(Anonymous) 2007-02-08 05:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, you mean my neighbor's one? Or the other one? which one? I have many. :P

I'm not trying to "dictate" anything. You know, a piece of advice here, a snary remark to nudge the person along in the right direction here. I concider my work more of a community service, in bettering humanity, ya know.

(Anonymous) 2007-02-08 05:25 pm (UTC)(link)
My apologies, my spelling today is off the mark. allow me to make these corrections. "Snary remark" = "snarky remark"
