We all miss you and wish you were here in our tiny hotel room, with its excessive amounts of chocolate and laptops!

Let me know if you arrive at any interesting conclusions. I always feel impassioned but airheaded when I make posts like that.

We have no particularly interesting conclusions, other than the obvious that a) your posts are shiny and b) Frank Miller is a fucktard. \o/

Just sayin'.

L.A. for the win! I still wish there was some way we could do some sort of big SG:LA meet-up or something.

Or at least that's what I tell myself when I remember what MY first boyfriend looked like. *shudders*

If it makes you feel better, I've been comboed with this one. A couple days after the last girl I was with left me for another guy, I ran into an ex at a screening of X3. So I was in a very shitty state where ex-girlfriends were concerned, and things kind of fell off awkward with us anyway. So I sympathize.

It's not like it was even a bad meeting; he was very nice. It just freaked me the fuck out. I think I would have been less frazzled if I'd walked into the food court and seen a dinosaur. <--Actually, that might've been cool...
Before a movie is such a lousy time to run into someone you don't want to see; it can ruin your enjoyment of the film. Of course, when it's X3 you're talking about... ;-)

Heh. Yeah, it can be really off-putting to run in to people in a context you don't expect them like that, especially if there's some cause of weirdness between you. I'm picturing you in the scene from Heroes where Hiro is staring down the dinosaur, but at a mall. It's a funny image.
Before the movie, I just got a text message from her asking me if I was in the theater. A little weird, but we didn't actually talk until after the film. It was quite strange. Oddly enough, she had (at random) sat in front of a co-worker (and thus, former co-worker of mine) who had noticed me across the theater, pointed at me, and yelled "Jesus!" which tipped her off. The really sad part is that nothing in that story (as she told it to me) surprised me. Life gets surreal when you work in a fantasy land all day.

Two, and you're one of them. =)

What's really funny is that I just saw that episode today. (I'm a little behind.) Oh, if only I could be as cool as Hiro!

And oddly enough, the ex in question just messaged me out of the blue about an hour ago. Maybe things will get better; I don't like to be on poor terms with people, even exes.
Hiro is great! Do you read his blog? I love it, because I'm a drooling Chrono Trigger fanboy, and he refers to it a lot in the blog. Which has me then looking at his actions in terms of CT. Because I am a nerd.
I won't say anything though, since you aren't caught up yet, other than the show is awesome and I can't wait to see where they take it.

Many years ago, I found out that my first boyfriend from middle-school (Met and snogged at Balticon) was THE ROOMMATE OF my second boyfriend (met and snogged at Disclave or another Balticon) Each one was a three or four month relationship when I was 14 and 15 respectively. They did not know each other at that time, I heard about their sharing an apartment when I was in my 20s. They were apparently discussing old girlfriends and my name came up.
