I just wrote the most disturbing sex scene ever. I guess I'm feeling better.

Cool. That will be much fun, although I don't know exactly when I'll be in Ireland or for how long yet. Anyway, something to look forward to.

You're clearly up and and about, no longer unconscious and/or heavily medicated, so this is very good news! I noticed you're having lunch today (probably even as I type) with mciac, which I'm sure will be a suitable treat following your recent ordeal.

I know the feeling! Since I've been playing a wandering scholar for the last ten years, I've got used to the idea of meeting people from another compartment of my life in the "wrong" place (friends from Belfast and some of my Irish cousins in Berkeley; friends from Berkeley in London; friends from Turkey in Greece; friends from Oxford in New York or L.A.). But it never gets old.

By the way, I believe the correct way to express an affirmative response in the place you're going to (soon) is: "yes I said yes I will yes." Just to remind you.
