Urgh. I am feeling so mindfucked right now. I just finished House of Leaves, which'd be enough right there. Add to that the fact that I haven't really slept for four days and that I spent more than six hours on Saturday (or was it Sunday?) reading about Blade Runner and listening to the Vangelis score--which was a mindtrip of its own--and you've got one seriously out of joint Trinity.* I think I'll do the dishes. Sometimes that helps clear my head.

Then it'll be back to more Blade Runner reading. Have I mentioned how much I want this semester to end? I'll give you a hint: it starts with 'a' and ends with 'lot.'

*Calling myself that doesn't sound right. Sometimes I miss my old moniker.

Actually, I think you cured me with the Serenity thing. It's a miracle!

More thoughts when I am somewhat more coherent.

Oh dear...House of Leaves on no sleep is no good! *hug*

Yeah, that's really not a book where you want to feel an ever-growing bond with the characters. And after maybe Fight Club, it's perhaps the No. 1 book to make one's insomnia seem reaaaaaally sinister.

All those moments will be lost, in time, like tears in rain. Time for the semester to end.

Indeed.

Did you know that Rutger Hauer improvised that line? Apparently he's not just a pretty/creepy face.

Impressive. A poet and an ill tempered android.
