TV Fans--HELP!
I need help with something for work. I need to find out which returning fall shows are adding new cast members--regulars. So far I know about Autumn Reeser joining The O.C. and Alana De La Garza on Law & Order. Does anybody either:
1) Know about other new additions off the top of their head;
or 2) Know where to find out.
I've tried Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, and TV Guide with very little success, and I've done about a gazillion Google searches. I figure LJ is legitimate resource, too! You guys are way smarter than me. *g*
Anyway, please help me not get fired. Thanks.

Check the long running stuff like ER.
I'd go to tvguide.com and look at the current weekday schedule, it'll give you some reminders as to what's on the fall schedule, look for those on imdb, which is really good at telling you when a cast member joined.

have you tried inputing search strings directly into google? Sometimes you can get chunks of info that way... also there's... damnit...
Look for "The Futon Critic" I know one of my flist gets loads of fall info from there.

And I think I heard some rumors about SPN getting a new regular character. Maybe.

Also, do you have a list of contacts at individual networks yet? There should be someone in charge of programming at each network that you can call and talk to (if you have time, obviously). And by "in charge of programming" I should specify that I mean "someone designated to talk to members of the press/editors at entertainment magazines" who can tell you things like that.
*ponders*
In another life (and, technically, another century, ouch) I used to be an assistant editor at an entertainment mag and although I'm sure nobody I used to know is still around, I do remember all the networks were really good about answering even what I thought were the most inane questions about things like that.

It's not too hard to dig up the PR numbers, I've had to do it myself. They probably even have little presskits.

Yes! Those were the best. I got so much free swag.

I don't know if you watch Bones, but it might be worth checking into, the season finale left sort of a set up for New People.

Apparently someone's joining the 4400 too?
