There's a lovely fic I read aaaaaages ago which has Rodney/Elizabeth, Elizabeth/John and Rodney/John. No spies, though. And it doesn't end up as Rodney/Elizabeth. But it's Elizabeth's PoV, and I liked her in it a lot.

You should write about Team!Atlantis (in which I include Elizabeth) being spies! That would be cool.

Okay, that would be fun. I'm thinking they wear clingy black outfits (or tuxes, or ridiculous leather catsuits, I dunno) and Rodney comes up with clever, yet stupidly complicated gadgets ("No, you moron, you press the green button twice and the red button ONCE to activate the tracking device! Red twice and green once is the heat-seeking missile! Do you want to get us all KILLED!?"). Or wait, maybe they should be kind of like Mr. and Mrs. Smith, but with spies? In any case, spies would be totally fun.

For spys, you could check out spygate, though the main pairing there is Sheppard/Weir, but Rodney is in some of them (codename 'citrus peel' *grins*). I'd recommend melyanna's Game on (http://community.livejournal.com/spygate/4029.html#cutid1) as probably the best story in that AU so far. The various codenames kill me.

There's a nice Weir/McKay fic by ljmckay, possibly the only one I've ever read with that pairing actually. It was one set before Atlantis, while McKay is stationed in Russia. She goes by commodorenorrington on ff.net, but the site isn't responding today, so I can't seem to grab you the link.

Those two would be great spys. I hope someone writes it.

The closest I've got is a short thing I wrote (http://sesa.slashx-files.com/2005/06.html) for 3_ships. Rodney/John/Elizabeth. There's a wee bit with just Elizabeth and Rodney. No spies.
