The one thing I've been sort of sad to hear in this thread is that they really have been "uglifying" him for the movies more than I thought (although movie!Neville is still adorable!). I liked it better when it was a case of awesome blossoming, because Neville is my favorite and I want to imagine him kicking ass (trufax!) and making all the girls (and a good number of the boys) in his herbology class swoon.
