True, true. But, I wouldn't have batted an eye if he had said "it" in reference to Castiel. I just meant that the bias towards masculine pronouns (we had it in Latin, too, if there was no noun present in the nominative and the verb denoted the third person singular, we were to assume a "he" as our subject) doesn't mean anything in regards to actual gender. I just tacked that on at the end as a less complicated possibility, that's all. ^_^
