The fangirl annoyed me at first, but when you put in that perspective...I like the idea. A lot.
I think I will secretly pretend that Zachariah is a whackjob, that Dean DOES have a higher purpose that goes beyond Zachariah & Co.'s understanding.
I hope you are right--Dean being a vessel might be too literal an interpretation by Zachariah. Dean being Michael's sword has everything to do with Dean being Dean, rather than just a meatsuit.
