One of the thing I've always liked about fanfiction is that it answers the unanswered, or even unasked, questions of canon. And now here's fanfiction that just raises more. I'd really, really hate you except that the story's so damn good I can't even care that it's full of hints and pieces of history, pieces of insight, without any real resolution... hell, the story probably wouldn't be as good with those things, even though my avaricious little soul wants them. So even though it made my fingers twitch reading this ;), mucho thankses, 'cause that was just fantastic.
