Has everybody seen the S2 DVD extra about David Hewlett? YOU MUST. To facilitate this, I (along with many other marvelous people) have uploaded it. (YSI and sendspace were being bitchy to me earlier, so I'm trying Up-File. It usually downloads pretty swiftly for me; the trick is in locating the download link, which is to the right below the ads--I think it says "upfile link 4 u." Click on that; it'll take you to the download page.)

Profile - David Hewlett (44 mb, .wmv)

I think this was originally uploaded by [livejournal.com profile] bluespirit_star--thank you!

Okay, have you seen it? Then I think we should use this post for Hewlett squee. I'm not sure what made me flail the most. Was it the mocking of his own hand gestures and the 15-minute rule? The fish sticks story? The just general, hilarious, self-deprecating awesomeness that is David Hewlett? I AM OVERCOME. In a really good way.

Not to distract you from the glory of the Hewlett, but a couple of other things:

[livejournal.com profile] dar_jeeling is on a quest to find the perfect brownie recipe, so here's the one my mom and my aunt use )

And I promised [livejournal.com profile] honey_babes my favorite John/Teyla songs. These pretty much sum up how I view that relationship: full of dramatic potential; smokin' hot while it lasts; but ultimately, doomed.

Cold Cold Water - Mirah
Mirah sings all the best Teyla songs. In this song, outside events and the trials of the world eventually prove too much for them...

Unmade Bed - Sonic Youth
...and in this one, John's just really screwed up. *coughs*

Anyway. David Hewlett. TALK AMONGST YOURSELVES.
