Um. Yeah, what I also wanted to say - when I read HDM for the first time, the scene where we learn how daemons (can't get the symbol to work) settle their shape completely threw me and overwhelmed me and stuff. And your scene was just as moving. The same goes for people without daemons - the idea is as horrific as it was when reading HDM. Um. Not so much with the coherency, me. But this was so good. *loves*
