You know, I'm absolutely fine with 'Thanks!' or some variation thereon. Unless I, you know, tried to analyse *why* I liked it, in which case some response to that would be nice. But most of the time I can't get beyond one line that basically says, I read this and liked it. (Actually, one of the best feedback responses I ever got was in response to a comment that I left along the lines of I-read-this-and-liked-it, and the author responded with 'Thanks for feedbacking'. Which was really nice, because I was finding it so hard to feedback when I left it.)
