Oh, thank you: thank you so much. That is, all, a relief and a joy to hear; I was very nervous about posting this story, fearing that the Buffy people (of which I was one) would cry "Sacrilege!" Because Buffy was so incredible; 'Hush' was so incredible; and some things are really too good to be remade. But I had so much fun remaking this one. So I'm really, really glad that you like it, that it works.
Heh: the icon. It happened because siriaeve and I both couldn't stop laughing at John getting called "The Chosen One" in 'Epiphany'--there were cries of, "Who is he, John Buffy Sheppard?" Which I thought was hilarious, so I twisted Siria's arm until she made me an icon. I'm evil like that. *g* (It's snaggable (http://siriaeve.livejournal.com/182869.html#cutid1), BTW; there's also one that just says "The Chosen One." Not to mention all of Siria's icons, which are fab.)
