I do love the tentativeness of the relationship here, the bare touching, the delicacy of it. And the commenter who talked about it being like 1940s sci-fi - that's actually true, it would fit with the atmosphere. Maybe 1984 was bleeding into this more than you thought! I still like it, anyway.
And ahaha for Angela Lansbury being the scariest thing you can imagine. Although Dr Iselin is totally creepy!
