Mmmmmyeah, this gave me teh shivers. So much wrongness here, and *too* much possibility and truth for my comfort. Which makes it all the creepier, and the happy ending all the sweeter. Fabulous writing, fabulous resolution, and I love how you made Kavanaugh human for once! Even in his wee little cameo :P Really, we should let him out of the dungeon more often. There's so much possibility in his undifferentiated angst and hatred ^_^
