Everyone and their dog has been reccing this story so I had to read it. I'm a shameless lurker and seldom leave reviews but GAH, you had me *crying*, which I haven't done from a fictional story since the last time I watched Four Weddings and a Funeral.
The thing that scares me the most is that I can see this happening all too easily in some countries. People who think they can dictate what we should think and feel, who can decide what's 'normal' and what's not. I'm just saying, if that's normal behaviour, then I'm *proud* of being abnormal.
The end is brilliant and warm and hopeful and makes me happy on so many levels.
