Well, there was ABBA... once upon a time. When you could still get in serious trouble for wearing mini skirts on a TV show.
I suspect the conspiracy theories and the assorted wank are one of the main reasons why many people still watch it. I'm just glad my country wasn't the one to supply the scandal this time.
