Isn't it fun how the more heterosexual they try to make John look, the gayer he seems?
God, it's so true. To me, the undercurrent of the scene was: heterosexual flirting endangered John's life. It's really hard to get gayer than that. And then John vows to listen to Rodney more, which means no more lunchtime flirting at all and only watching Rodney. Which is GAYER.
