isiscolo is running the Hewligan Fest over at sga_6degrees, which is a terrific community for fic and art related to SGA actors' other works. I was prompted to write a fic where the eponymous character in the David Hewlett film Joe's Wedding is replaced by Joe Flanigan. In that movie, DH plays Joe's best friend Rob. This is Rob:

Work is SO BAD right now. I had to stay past 9 last night, and I've had no time to do anything, not even read your RPS, although I've had it up on my computer since Friday. If this story weren't actually due, I wouldn't have even posted.

I want a vaaacaaaaaaation.

Urgh, bad work, no biscuit. I'm totally crossing my fingers and toes for you to get a tropical island vacation of your choice with the Hewlett. He apparently has the flu at the moment, so you've both earned it.

I have a chest infection and there is a major family brouhaha (not centred around me for once THANK JEEBUS) and two different fandom things shat on me from a great height and apparently our phone provider has gone bankrupt and I might lose net access soon.

Whoo.

(Can I put in for a holiday, too?)
