[livejournal.com profile] isiscolo is running the Hewligan Fest over at [livejournal.com profile] sga_6degrees, which is a terrific community for fic and art related to SGA actors' other works. I was prompted to write a fic where the eponymous character in the David Hewlett film Joe's Wedding is replaced by Joe Flanigan. In that movie, DH plays Joe's best friend Rob. This is Rob:

And this, as you know, is Joe:

(His milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.)

And this is my fic!

Joe’s Big Fat Gay Wedding

You should also read the fantastic story that was written for me, On a Gathering Storm by [livejournal.com profile] darth_begbie, which is Julian Lodge/David Kellum. *vbeg*

They weren't for anything; Rob just wanted an excuse to spend time with Joe.

As for the flocking RPF, there are mixed feelings about that, but no set rule. I'm not going to, because more people read this journal than I can reasonably friend, and it wouldn't be fair.
