Do all these people really not get that Stephen Colbert often gives statements in character, or am I missing something?

I'm going to be stuck at work forever. Sigh.

Hi, I think my post has been misunderstood (though I can now see how it could be taken that way). I love Stephen Colbert and understand that he is in character. I just wanted to point out the funny quote to my friends. I should have stopped at that point and not added the closing statement.

Ooops. Sorry! I thought that you must be joking, but then I didn't get the last statement, and I've been stuck at work late all week and just wanted to know if I was going nuts. Which is still possible, but either way, my apologies for misjudging your with-it-ness. *g*
