Also known as: help Trin pretend that her boss isn't due back any minute and he's going to be cranky and she's not done with everything she needs to be done with (mostly this is not her fault) and oh god oh god *waves hands* let's just focus on something else.

Name a fandom and I will tell you what I think I know about it, derived only from my LJ experience.

Okay? Thanks. Now I shall try to dislodge my heart from where it seems to have wedged itself—somewhere in the mid-throat region, I think.

ETA: Anyone know who posted the SPN mix this song was part of? It was in the last few days, but I'm an idiot with a bad memory. Nevertheless, I'd like to say thank you, because it's awesome.

I knew someone would give me this one!

So, there are a bunch of people working for the Navy in come capacity (that's the 'N,' right?) and there's a guy named Tim McGee who looks like an assistant college football coach, and a chick named Abby who looks like a recovered goth, and they have an on-again, off-again kind of relationship, and also they fight crime? And I only know this much because apparently my Ancient OCs Cygnus and Gienah accidentally bore an eerie resemblance to them.

Also, this show is maybe in some way related to JAG, and therefore First Monday, which means that Julian Lodge could show up at any moment! Or in my head, anyway.

Yes, they fight crime! The have a crime fighting mobile! They are not navy though, which is kind of confusing, because the N does stand for Naval (criminal Investigative Service). I can't explain that either.

I don't know who First Monday or Julian Lodge are, but I trust I'll notice when he shows up. Oh, and you forgot to mention that Abby and McGee fight crime with Tony and Gibbs, who are very very gay.
*points to head-stroking Gibbs/Tony icon*

Other than that, LJ has taught you well. ;-)

I knew there were people who were very gay, but I could not for the life of me remember their names! My brain kept giving me the names of those people from Without a Trace. (Danny and Martin?)

Julian Lodge is the character Joe Flanigan played in a bad JAG quasi-spinoff about the Supreme Court. He is a VERY gay, VERY repressed Republican lawyer. He wears a bowtie. I LOVE him.

A gay lawyer! OMG he will appear on NCIS and have an affair with Tony, and Gibbs will become jealous and possessive, because that's what always happens when Tony flirts. And then there will be threesome sex.
I must check out this Julian Lodge character, he sounds very loveable indeed.

The only JAG lawyer who did appear on NCIS so far is that woman who hunted people with her dog and then ate their livers in a milk shake on one of the CSIs. Come to think of it, she's kind of freaky on NCIS as well.

Julian is so awesome I can't even begin to express it. There's not much fic about him, sadly, and most of what there is has been written either by [livejournal.com profile] yin_again (here (http://yin-again.livejournal.com/tag/first+monday)) or, well, me (here (http://trinityofone.livejournal.com/tag/first+monday)). If you wanna get your hands on the eps themselves, e-mail me and I'll tell you where I got them from.
