Fantasy Island!

Um. Oh God. Even though we had a talk about it and my mom wrote an episode, I realize that I actually have NO IDEA what the show was about. Just...there was some rich guy? And every week he invited people to his island to make their fantasies come true? Only also scary supernatural things happened? Was the rich guy actually evil? Um.

However, I do know for certain that there was a little person who said, "Boss, da plane, da plane!" In EVERY EPISODE. This annoyed my mother, who had to figure out a way to fit it in.

Hey -- you're pretty close there! Um, Mr. Roarke was both rich and supernatural? I remember one episode where he fought off SATAN (as played by Roddy McDowell) and he had a goddaughter who was a mermaid? (played by Michelle Phillips) But I don't think Mr. Roarke was inherently evil... And honestly, I don't know what Tattoo's point in the whole scheme of things was, other than to yell about "da plane."

FYI -- your package got mailed, but Mr. Lilac_way sent it media mail. So it will probably get there by Summer, at least.

I'm excited, even if media mail means it may arrive in 2009 torn apart by dogs. ;-) (No, seriously, it's fine; it's usually not so bad, although those "random inspections" freak me out.)
