Woo! I passed my permit test! I am now legally authorized to terrify ebrooklynw and akukorax as they try to help me learn how to drive in the state of California! I win!

...This annoucement would be much more awesome and much less pathetic if I were actually 15 1/2 and making it. *looks sheepish*

I've only just got my license, and I'm 24 (I got my permit in...May? and my license in June; granted, it's Oregon, and they don't make you parallel park, and I had tried to learn, once, years ago, in boarding school), and now I'm scooting around like an old pro like I'm actually comfortable doing it! Good luck!

I got my Cali license on my sixteenth birthday. There was no parallel parking then. They had me pull over on an empty street and then back up a yard or so. Parallel parking is still the hardest part of driving for me.
