Because how often do people that I want to hook up on TV actually hook up? Like, never, with the exceptions, I SUPPOSE, of Mulder & Scully and Buffy & Spike, and neither of those actually turned out that great. So I must rejoice while I can! And rewatch that scene about as many time as Barney's apparently watched the "Let's Go to the Mall" video.

Oh my holy fucking god. I just watched the episode... duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude. That was... even legendarier than legendary.

Also, it occurs to me that Stella "can't" be the mother, because surely Ted's kids know their mother's name. Right...?

Was "Stella" ever said in the narration? I mean, I'm not married to this idea or anything. It's just that St. Pat's mention was weird. They probably ARE dropping red herrings everywhere just to fuck with us.
