Anonymous Bible-quoting in my Yay! California Gay Marriage post

Is it wrong that this just makes me laugh? A lot?

But then, how can I be sad when so many people will be having average, boring, gay-married sex soon? I AM SURROUNDED BY AN UMBRELLA OF LOVE.

...I also seem to have just invented a new condom euphemism. \o/

Trin - what the hell does your post have to do with adultery? Your troll is doing it wrong.

Right. Because we all know that the only way to properly honor God is through fisting (http://www.sexinchrist.com/fist.html).

Hey you notice it was straight fisting! Between a man and his wife. The only righteous way to enjoy god's fist of love.

Thank you, thank you so much! *tears of joy*

Before attempting fisting, a Christian husband and wife should pray together and ask for divine guidance. The husband should ask that God guide his hand and work through him, and for the skill and patience to fist his wife correctly and maximize her pleasure. The wife should pray for openness and readiness to receive God’s love and grace in the form of her husband’s hand.

OMG CHRISTIAN FISTING FTW! \o/

YES EXACTLY. I clicked through expecting something about man lying with another man or whatever, and it's all 'NOOOOOO SEX ARE RONG!!'

I feel slighted, somehow.

Though hopefully a higher quality in trollage won't be marked with a significant decrease in hilarity.

It makes me sad when they cannot be bothered to stay on topic! It's like they're not even trying (or kind of dumb, either/or). *sniff* Back in my day, trolls walked uphill both ways to spam you with RELEVANT SPAM.

Well, how else will they learn the fine rules of debate?

Step 1: Remain on topic, do not go off on a rant about tapioca if your original topic was about nuclear war.

I feel compelled to share my own favourite Bible verse:

"Yet she increased her whoring, remembering the days of her youth, when she played the whore in the land of Egypt, and lusted after her paramours there, whose members were like those of donkeys, and whose issue was like that of horses." (Ezekiel 23:19-20)

Wise words for us all, I think.

Sorry wrong post..

And don't you love people that feel the need to post something like that, and then feel the need not to stand up and say who it is.

Anonymous posting...*sigh*

Seriously, though if you're going to tell someone they're going to hell, you might as well do it with a relevant bit of biblevomit.

It's not wrong that it makes you laugh, I have giggled hysterically on more than one occasion when someone pulls out the Bible quotes as authorative evidence that x, y, or z is the correct way to behave.

Is it me or is it really obvious they went to a bible quotes generator and didn't find anything that said "OMG FLAMING GAY BASTARDS!" so adultery and fornication was as close as they could get?

People are puzzling.

You see, this is when Mark 14:51-52 (http://bibleresources.bible.com/passagesearchresults.php?passage1=Mark+14%3A51-52&version1=31)comes in handy.

Three and a half years of Catholic school, and this is what I remember. I mean, I'm sure there's something about love in that book, but for some reason, this left a bigger impression.

(Hi, I just finished reading the last part of nature boy, and decided to check out the rest of your lj)
