So as loads of people have already mentioned, Steven Moffat's going to be taking over for Doctor Who Season Five.

This, first of all, makes me go \o/! Second, it makes me give serious consideration to the following question:

Does this mean there's a chance that Jack Davenport could be the next Doctor?

You know. If David Hewlett and Philip Glenister aren't available.

How awesome would that be, though, seriously? SERIOUSLY AWESOME.

I'd also like to mention that two nights ago, I had a dream in which Tony Stark teamed up with newly-employed-as-a-flight-attendant Annie Cartwright to save a bunch of people on a plane, and they snarked and flirted a lot. Tony Stark/Annie Cartwright would be a crossover pairing of BRILLIANCE, I feel. CLEARLY I AM ON A ROLL.

Please feel free to share other Eleventh Doctor/Crossover Pairings of Awesome ideas in the comments. :)

The flight attendant uniforms in my dream were, um. Very red. And sexy. Gee, I wonder where my brain go that from?

FAVORITE FAVORITE HAPPY PLACE \o/

Yay! I'm glad it's not just me. :)

I think Jack Davenport is definitely on the list of People Who Would Be Awesome Eleventh Doctors. (Also on the list: Stephen Fry.) And I am so, so, SO excited about this. (I'm also excited because it totally gives me an excuse to fb message that guy I met in SF with whom I bonded over Doctor Who. *is a pathetic girl*)

Also I'm so incredibly sad I have not had a dream about Tony Stark. I feel cheated. Any dream where he's looking hot wearing a suit, or looking hot wearing a sweaty black vest top, or looking hot wearing nothing at all, would be amazing. DO YOU HEAR ME, DREAM GODS?

Last night I dreamt I was seated next to Neil Patrick Harris on a plane, so 1) I am apparently obsessed with aircraft at the moment, and 2) I am SO on a roll.

*tries to give you some of her dream karma*

And that's totally a legit excuse! *cheers you on*

*steals your dream karma*

Heh, I'm such a loser. *headdesk*

Ha, so are [livejournal.com profile] ebrooklynw and [livejournal.com profile] akukorax and I! We should have a Coupling party!

Jack Davenport has pretty much the sexiest voice of anyone in the world. Mmm.

Because Coupling is made of the awesome. My best friend and I revert to talking about how awesome it is after we've run out of topics.

I read on one of the Dr Who sites that Robert Carlyle was 'in talks' to be the next Doctor. And while I love and adore Jack Davenport and would like to lick him all over, I think it's past time for a Doctor that's not ridiculously young and attractive.

I guess it depends how they make him up for it - this is the sort of look I was thinking about.

A female Doctor would be pretty cool. And hey, Moffat's gone there before. (Join the community I'm linking to and check out this (http://community.livejournal.com/ihearttvshows/3503599.html) post if you don't know what I mean.)

Does this mean there's a chance that Jack Davenport could be the next Doctor?

If there is, I would never be able to watch an episode without swooning.

My housemate was watching a docu on Thunderbirds yesterday - it took me approximately 0.3 seconds to identify the narrator as Mr Davenport, after which I sat down to listen happily.

Though Dylan Moran or Robert Carlyle would also make me seriously happy. Robert Carlyle would be great because he hasn't had an opportunity to be cute and funny since Hamish MacBeth and most of the people I know don't believe he could be - but he so can.
