Feeling irrationally pissed at my parents because they bought the whole family tickets to see Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull without consulting me, even though 1) I've already seen it and 2) I didn't like it.

General flist opinion seems to be pretty positive. Please tell me I'm not the only one who was like, "Oh, Steven. NO."

I usually don't get anything to eat at the movies because it's both expensive and bad for you, but I hope my parents know that they're totally gonna have to fork out for the good caramel popcorn today. Just sayin'.

Just to say you're not the only one to come away disappointed. I wouldn't see it again and wouldn't recommend it. In fact, just thinking about it now annoys me!

Exactly. The more I think about it, the more annoyed I am. Seeing it a second time is going to be like thinking about it but worse—and then, knowing my family, they're gonna wanna bitch about it all through dinner! I'd rather just repress. ;-)

Well, it beat the hell out of the second movie, which admittedly isn't hard to do. I was most disappointed with the actor playing Marion's son. Wooden, much?

I just wish they'd made "Indiana Jones 4" and "The Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls" as seperate movies. They both could have been very good seperately, but mixing them diminished both I think.
