The grisly sight that greeted me when I went to take out the trash just now...

And I don't even live in Hollywood!

I will probably have a nightmare tonight about it coming to eat me.

Could be worse. Could be the scary-ass Blink statues. I lived in a flat overlooking a graveyard all last year.

Luckily there weren't any in my direct window sight-line. But London is a pretty perilous city when it comes to evil living statues.

Heh. Were there always a lot of geeky tourists? I imagine there must be, like, guided Dr Who tours by now.

Also, I... want to beg you for that song. I love "Running Up That Hill" and I quite like Kate Bush.

Sorry about the trauma. :) Here's the song to make up for it: Running Up That Hill (http://www.sendspace.com/file/5wyspy).

I also have many, many cover versions. Let me know if you would like them too!

Placebo, Icon and the Black Roses, Chromatics, and Faith and the Muse. And that's just on this computer. I have at least one more at work, and possibly several others on my old laptop...

This Chromatics (http://www.sendspace.com/file/6o2pj9) version is cool. The others aren't bad either. I'll upload 'em tomorrow if you want. But now, to sleep...uneasily...

I'm on dialup so when it was downloading and I saw the black lines my first thought was that it was going to be a giant black spider.

I don't know if that was better or worse. :)

Oh, I have giant spider stories, too! But that was back on the East Coast. Yes: East Coast = giant spiders; West Coast = severed dummy heads.

I was actually afraid to touch it. And when I came back about ten minutes after taking these photos with reinforcements ([livejournal.com profile] ebrooklynw) it was...gone.

Duh duh DUN!

Unless it's only a prelude to the real dummy attack...

I love the series of ever closer shots. It works best if you page down through them one by one humming the violin music from Psycho. *helpful!*
