As most of you probably already know, the California Supreme Court has upheld Proposition 8, the gay marriage ban.

I am fucking pissed off.

[livejournal.com profile] bmouse and I are heading to a protest in about an hour, but I doubt that will be enough to vent all the anger and helpless rage from my system. So! Let's have a little love-in right here: gimme a prompt and I will do my best to write a drabble or ficlet for you. SPN, SGA, crossovers, whatever else you think I may know well enough to write. Due to the circumstances, slash or femslash preferred! Happy prompts preferred! Dean/Castiel preferred...okay, that last one is just me. You may also feel free to write me some of that here. ;-)

I'm not sure how much I'll be able to tackle before Thursday (my first day off in a week, GOD) but lay 'em on me and I'll do my best. And, you know—if anyone else wants to respond to any of the prompts, have at 'em! We can totally handle more than one response to some of these, I'm thinking.

I'm not sure how you feel about timestamps, but your last story has been with me all day...and while I'm not sure it could or should have a *happy* ending, I'd really like to see Dean find out or remember or learn what Cas did...whether through another angel being spiteful or Cas misspeaking or...

But if that isn't happy enough, just Dean seeing Cas for the first time after Cas defied the angels to 'rewrite the story' in 4x22.... I haven't gone looking for post-ep fic, and I know you won't make it too facile even if it is happy (of sorts :)

Uh-oh. Now you've given me an idea. I am not sure I can make it work, but it's definitely not going to be ficlet-sized. I hope you don't mind waiting a little longer...?

Heh, now this...I've been thinking and thinking about this! So far I've been able to figure out three ways for Castiel to get out of that situation:

1. He's somehow actually able to defeat/fend off the archangels—which seems a cheat;
2. Chuck comes to the rescue somehow, as he might have some sway with them (though that also seems lame and cheaty);
or 3. The archangels let Cas go, but only after punishing him in some way.

No. 3 seems the most probable, or at least the most fic-effective, but I haven't come up with any take on it that works to my satisfaction. Let me know if you have any better thoughts! I am very curious to see what Kripke & Co. will come up with...

*g* I hear you on the various option, and the last one being the most realistic... Chuck's too deus ex machina...but the punishment in your third option definitely could be interesting!

As for the not quite sequel...you know I'm a size queen...I'll wait happily for a bit longer stuff!!! :D
