Nov. 12th, 2009 12:07 pmMy boss has asked me to become the official twitterer...tweeter...twit...person who updates Twitter for our store, despite my having no experience with Twitter whatsoever besides stalking Misha Collins. So to prevent my embarrassing myself hugely and getting fired, I set up a Twitter account for myself to experiment on. (I immediately embarrassed myself less hugely by misusing the @ sign. Oops.) Since it's OUT THERE IN THE WORLD NOW, I suspect I will update it occasionally. Please come follow me so I can feel less like I am talking to myself? I would be eager to return the favor. This is, after all, very srs bsns. FOR WORK.
C'est moi, although I'm sure you could have figured that out.
ETA: Those of you who are Twitter-enabled, if you could do me an extra super big favor and reply to the latest tweet on @dieselbookstore, I would be obscenely grateful. Then my boss will know I'm earning my keep! (If you want to follow the store, too, that would additionally be awesome.)

Date: 2009-11-12 08:32 pm (UTC)My blushes have abated somewhat. I was initially concerned I had done the Twitter equivalent of PMing him. I really have NO idea what I am doing.

Date: 2009-11-12 09:44 pm (UTC)I find myself following a lot of news-types, being in the Fakenews fandom it kinda helps, and enjoying @StephenAtHome's twitters way too much. (even though I know they're mostly written by the writing team and not acutally Stephen Colbert)
It is kind of good for that sort of stuff, at least.
