Okay, first of all: CHUCK/BECKY — I SO CALLED IT.

Second: Aww, it's so CUTE how they still think they have male fans!

More seriously, on both points:

1. Um. Does this mean Eric Kripke secretly wants to sleep with us? I FEEL IT KIND OF DOES.

2. As much as I enjoyed Demian and Barnes...those roles should have really been written to be women. I mean, COME ON. Are they really still this blind to who their audience is—who their fandom is? SIGH.

They made it up to me a little bit at the end, both with the reveal that I'm sure is going to make the show's few actual male fans on AfterElton.com explode with glee, and with Becky providing the key clue. (COME ON, FANGIRL ARMY!) But seriously, Crowley? CROWLEY? The Anthony J. Crowley that I know would never condone these shenanigans! Also, seriously, where are Neil and Terry's fruit baskets?

Finally, I MISS CAS. But even Casless, that episode was pretty damn fun.

ETA: I AM AN IDIOT. 5x09. Not 5x10. I don't know jack squat about 5x10, argh! This is what I get for claiming to win internets of any kind.

Speaking of fangirl armies . . . I want to see a literal fangirl army really badly. The Winchesters have been inadvertently spreading the gospel of ghost hunting for a long time now -- first the GhostFacers (who, admittedly, make more trouble than they solve, but, still, they do at least know what to do) and now the "Supernatural" fans. It seems like it's only a matter of time before somebody realizes that the fans have basically been training themselves as an army. Especially now with the What Would the Winchesters Do? theme of this week's episode. (Speaking of which, I want a WWS&DD bracelet, for reals.) Chuck and Becky can be the generals and Damian and Barnes can be their lieutenants, and the legion of fans will follow the Winchesters into the battle of the end of days.
