fishandcustard listened very patiently while I ironed out early ideas for this adaptation, and bribed me with macarons;
bauble worked clean-up shift and helped fix many of the story's lingering problems.
siriaeve knows she is always my first and best soundingboard. And the amazing
aesc—artist, writer, and jumpin' Jupiter, road buddy extraordinaire—inspired me with her beautiful work and was invaluable in shaping the final product. Thank you all so much!

Date: 2010-10-20 01:03 am (UTC)Are there any Hunger Games Trilogy spoilers?
I read The Hunger Games, but I haven't finished Catching Fire or Mockingjay yet.
This looks so interesting, but if there are spoilers, I'll have to save this fic for after I've finished the books.

Date: 2010-10-20 05:46 pm (UTC)For some reasons, it reminded me of a novel by Orson Scott Card (not the Ender trilogy, I don't remember the name of the book right now though). And anything reminding me of something written by Orson Scott Card is totally, utterly, absolutely (etc.) good. But the truth is, having read some of your other works, I'm not that surprised that I like it so much.

Thank you for this!
When I see new writing from you, I get excited. I never know what to expect when it comes to plot, tone, POV, etc, but you've definitely got your own style. It is an AWESOME style. I read a ton of fic, and you are so one of the top 5 writers that can make my day before I even read a word of what you've written. Just knowing it's there to read is enough.
Yeah, I just comment groped you. Heh.
